Rajinikanth is not doing a `Baba’ with `3′. The Superstar has denied reports that he was going to compensate for the losses incurred by distributors who had released the Dhanush-starrer ‘3’, which was directed by his daughter Aishwarya (who is Dhanush’s wife). Rajini clarified that he was not involved in any way with the movie.

Rajinikanth is at the moment in Kerala shooting for his younger daughter Soundarya’s ‘Kochadaiyaan’. (see blog)

The distributor who had bought the rights to the Telugu version of `3′ had gone on record that due to Dhanush and Aishwarya not promoting the film enough in Andhra Pradesh, he suffered losses. Dhanush had crossed swords denying anyone had lost money.

‘3’ was produced by RK Productions and Wunderbar Films, Dhanush’s home banners, and will release in Hindi next month.
