AP Speaker rejects Telangana MLAs resignations

Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar has rejected the resignations of all the 101 MLAs from the Telangana region. After sitting over the quit letters for one month, Manohar rejected them today, saying they were done in haste and in a fit of emotion. Soon after the rejection, the Speaker has left for London. Strangely he did not even summon the MLAs for a one-on-one meeting to ascertain the reason for the resignation, as is the norm.

The MLAs say they are not resigned to their fate but instead will resubmit their resignations tomorrow.

This is only a huge waste of paper. I think Forest minister of AP should make a protest.

    This is unjust.

When NKR accepeted the resignations of TRS MLAs when SKC was formed, how come they were not based on emotions. How come all of them have become resignations based on emotions.
