For some days now, a photograph of a signboard in Kottayam in Kerala has been doing the rounds on Facebook and Twitter. Three signs on the same board showing Kottayam in different directions and different distances.

Now Rahul Srinivas in his blog has clarified how it all happened. As he explains, it is a case of a mischievious photoshop and the fact that you can indeed reach Kottayam even if you turn left or right from a particular spot on the outskirts of this city.
